How to adjust the daffodil flowering period

Daffodil is more tolerant to yin, but also has better drought resistance and resistance to barrenness. It is widely planted in France, Portugal and other places in the central part of Europe. For the autumn bulbous roots, there is a certain degree of resistance to low temperatures, which can be cultivated in open fields in eastern China; however, it is not tolerant of high temperatures. After high temperatures in summer, it must also undergo a low-temperature vernalization process. The dormancy period is longer, the vernalization process is longer and the requirements are higher. In the promotion of cultivation, if the high temperature of 30°C is encountered, it will lead to differentiation and affect flowering. Therefore, in order to prevent pupa differentiation, plants are planted from late September to early October. After the September-October planting, the bulbs continuously grow leaves and roots, and their growth is delayed after winter. After warming in early spring, the leaves quickly grew. After three to five leaves were grown, the flower buds were extracted from the leaves and the stems were almost flush with the leaves. After flowering, the underground ball began to develop, and it died from the aboveground part of June to July, and the plants entered dormancy. The flower buds of the new ball begin to differentiate around the end of April and are completed before dormancy. From June to July, after the bulbs are dug up, they can be used to promote cultivation after a certain high temperature. The earliest flowers can bloom at the end of November. The flowering period is generally from December to March of the following year. For the promotion of cultivation, the first refrigerated vernalization. Refrigeration treatment at 8°C-10°C for more than 5 weeks is most effective in promoting flowering. The longer the vernalization time, the more it can promote flowering. However, due to the long vernalization time, the plant shape will become smaller; if the refrigerating time is too long, the flowers will also become smaller. Generally refrigerated at 8°C for 5 weeks to 8 weeks, the plant growth does not produce abnormalities. If stored at a temperature of 15°C-18°C before refrigerated treatment, the effect is better. The vernalization treatment should be dry-type refrigerated, do not add water during the refrigerating process. Chilled treated bulbs, if they encounter a temperature of 25°C after seeding, can seriously affect the vernalization effect. Therefore, they are generally planted in October. If you are planting in September, you must look for a cool place or cool off in a sunny day. The bulbs are usually placed in a cold storage at 8°C in early August and processed for 8 weeks. They can bloom in November. If the low temperature treatment is performed after 8 weeks in late August, the plants will be planted after 8 weeks, and will be flowered in December; treated at the end of August and planted at the end of October. Flowering in January of the following year; Treatment in early September, planting at the end of October, flowering in February of the following year; treatment in the middle and late September, planting in the early November, flowering in March of the following year; no treatment, planting in October-November, March-4 Flowering on the month.
