Silicon fertilizer. The effective silicon (SiO2) content of commodity silicon fertilizer is generally not less than 20%, and also contains elements such as calcium and magnesium. Due to different raw materials, there are different colors such as white, grayish brown and black, which do not absorb moisture, and are slightly alkaline weak acid-soluble fertilizers that can promote the photosynthesis of various crops, strengthen the absorption of nutrients and improve the resistance to stress. Rare earth fertilizer. Rare earth fertilizer refers to a fertilizer added with light rare earth elements. Light rare earth elements refer to lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), praseodymium (Pr), neodymium (Nd), etc. in the third subgroup of the periodic table of chemical elements. At present, domestic and foreign scholars have two opinions on the role of rare earths in agriculture. One thinks that rare earth elements may belong to the ultra-trace elements necessary for plants, and the other thinks that rare earth elements may belong to crop growth stimulants. However, the consensus is that rare earth elements have certain physiological activity and have a promoting effect on crop growth. Domestic research has proven that it has high yield and quality for more than 30 kinds of crops; according to China's food safety toxicological assessment procedures, experiments show that reasonable application of rare earth element fertilizer is safe and reliable. For safe and effective application, the state has issued the national standard for agricultural nitrate nitrate GB 9668-94; it has issued industry standards for the application of fertilizers and specifies the technical requirements for the addition of rare earth elements to compound fertilizers.

Titanium fertilizer. Experiments show that titanium (Ti) is located in the fourth sub-group of cycle IV of the periodic table of elements and is found in nature in the form of oxides or titanates. It is insoluble in water, so its content in the soil is very low, not exceeding 0.07 mg/kg. Very few can be absorbed and utilized by crops. Field trials have shown that spraying titanium fertilizer can increase the yield and quality of mulberry leaves, increase the content of chlorophyll, dry matter, soluble sugar and total nitrogen, and increase the yield, silk yield and silk quality of silkworms after silkworm rearing. At present, research at home and abroad is devoted to the development of products that have good water solubility, are easily absorbed and utilized by crops, and are non-toxic and inexpensive.

Incidentally, the waste water of rare earth minerals, because their composition and concentration are not clear, cannot be applied blindly or used for irrigation. Otherwise, serious consequences may occur and it is difficult to eliminate.
