Big tree transplanting technology

As a common tree species in landscaping, the authors transplanted four 10-year-old oysters with a height of 4.6 meters and a canopy diameter of 1.5 meters in March this year. In the process of transplantation, technical measures such as pre-dug tree pits, large earth ball transplanting, transportation, planting, irrigation and post-transplantation management and protection were adopted, and all four of them had survived. After more than two years of observation, transplanted alfalfa grew normally and flourished. Now transplanting technology is introduced as follows:

1. Pre-dug tree pits The pre-dug tree pits must be completed one week prior to planting. Generally, the diameter of the tree pit is the same as or greater than the diameter of the crown, and the depth is about 1 meter. When digging pits, topsoil and raw soil are separated, stones and construction waste are pulled out, and the water is allowed to stand after planting.

Second, the earth ball transplantation of large earth ball transplanted earthen ball should be the same as or larger than the diameter of the crown. Three days before transplanting, water was poured once. Excavate as much as possible to increase the scope of excavation, can reach 50 cm outside the root line. In order to reduce the amount of traffic, the upper layer of top soil is removed at the base of the trunk and then excavated along the outer edge of the broken line. When they dig to 2/3, they are fenced with soaked straw ropes and sacks (or tied with soaked straw ropes and wooden planks), and the smaller they are, the smaller they are.

Third, after the excavation of transport vehicles, according to the size of the trees to choose the appropriate mode of transport. In the process of lifting and transporting, we should try to protect the branches and soil ball, strive for the day of shipment, and plant the same day. When transportation is convenient, it can be transported directly to the planting site; if the traffic is inconvenient, it should be transported to a convenient place as soon as possible and then transported to the planting site.

Fourth, pruning or damage the site to be trimmed before planting. Roots with a diameter of more than 2 cm should be sawed off at the top with a saw cut to facilitate healing and carbendazim to disinfect the soil and roots. In the excavated tree caves, 150 kg of composted soil compost and 3 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer (or some basal fertilizer such as humus and pond mud) were applied to each tree, and then 20 cm of topsoil was filled. Lift the treated tree to the center of the tree hole and fill the top soil in the tree pit. When the pit soil is filled to a depth of 0.5 meters from the ground, it should be filled with down-to-earth soil to allow the roots and soil to bind tightly. Be careful not to loosen the earth ball so as not to damage the root system. Fill the earth to the level of the ground and build a soil around the tree pit to facilitate irrigation.

V. Irrigation After planting, water should be poured in a timely manner, and the water should be filled and irrigated, and the soil should be sealed immediately after the water infiltration. From the 10th to the 12th day, the water is poured into the hole and once again, 12-15 days thereafter, the water is re-irrigated once, depending on the weather conditions and the soil texture. Irrigation should pay attention to the control of the amount of water, the newly transplanted trees, due to root damage caused by the weakened water absorption capacity, the demand for soil moisture is small, the soil can be moist. After each irrigation, it is necessary to loosen the soil in time to prevent soil compaction and increase the permeability of the soil so as to facilitate the growth of the root system. When there is too much soil moisture, appropriate drainage measures should be taken.

6. Management after transplantation 1. Support The tree should be supported and fixed immediately after transplantation to prevent dumping. The support piles are most stable with the positive triangle piles, the upper support point is at the height of 2/3 of the tree height, and the protective layer is added to prevent injury. 2. Apply fertilizing topdressing fertilizer for 45 to 50 days after planting (Urea, ammonium sulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, etc.), fertilize thin fertilizers and pay attention to the roots. 3. The cultivator loose soil In order to prevent soil compaction, maintain its good permeability, promote root growth, should often cultivator loose soil, but be careful not to hurt the root system.
