Tractor gearbox maintenance and troubleshooting

First, the use of transmission maintenance considerations 1. Before each shift, you should completely separate the main clutch, and appropriate control of the throttle, so as to avoid gear shift impact. 2. When the gear is upshift, do not use too much force to operate the shift lever. Otherwise, the shift fork may be damaged or the travel limit of the shift shaft may be broken to cause chaos. 3. The oil seal is to prevent transmission gear oil from flowing into the clutch chamber. To this end, it should be regularly checked whether the oil seal fails, such as a serious oil spill should be replaced. 4. Regularly inspect the cotter pin for oil leakage. If oil leaks, check whether the oil seal fails. 5. The gearbox is in communication with the rear axle and both use the same gear oil. Lubricating oil is injected from the fuel filler plug hole on the rear cover of the rear axle housing. Breathing holes on the fuel filler plug should always be kept open. The height of the oil level can be measured with the oil dipstick on the right side of the rear axle housing. The oil level should be between the two lines of the dipstick. When the oil is drained, the transmission oil drain plug and the rear axle oil drain plug can be unscrewed and the oil can be drained. 6. A clearance adjustment washer is installed on the end face of the power shaft to ensure a clearance of about 0.3 mm. If it is worn out, it should be replaced. Second, the gearbox common troubleshooting 1. Gearbox knocking sound When the gearbox is used too long, the internal shaft, bearing a larger amount of wear, the corresponding wear of the gear surface, gear meshing operation is not stable, There will be periodic knocks. After the planet gears and shafts in the planetary speed reduction mechanism are worn, a knocking sound is also generated. At this time, the gearbox should be disassembled, and the causes should be ascertained one by one, and the damaged parts should be replaced. 2. The skipped gears produce more jump gears. The main reason is that the gearbox locking mechanism and the operating mechanism are faulty. The wear of the upper half of the fork shaft and the lack of locking spring force will invalidate the locking mechanism. In this case, the damaged parts should be replaced. If the fork is seriously worn or bent, and the ball at the bottom of the shift lever is worn out, the shift stroke will be affected, and the meshing position of the working gear pair will be inaccurate, resulting in skipping. The damaged parts should be corrected and welded or replaced. 3. Dirty files When the files are applied too hard, the travel of the shifting shaft can only be changed or broken, causing chaos. At this time, the hydraulic elevator cover should be removed, and the travel limiter plates of the shift shaft should be replaced, and the fork shaft and the fork should be checked for damage or bending.
