Three Methods for Controlling White Star Flower Chafers

From June to July, the white-spotted beetle is in its peak period. However, because the insect is a coleopteran pest and has a strong ability to move, the effect of the fruit grower is often unsatisfactory. The author proposes that the farmers adopt the following methods for prevention and control:

Insect worms are used to hang fine-mouthed bottles on the nearby trees during the initial period of the white-spotted beetle, and used wine bottles or washed waste pesticide bottles. The bottle height is 1 to 1.5 meters, and 2 to 3 white stars are placed in the bottle. The beetle, when the white-flowered golden tortoise in the field flies up to the bottle, crawls near the bottle's mouth before it falls into the bottle. Usually 40 to 50 bottles per mu.

Sweet and sour liquid to lure the preparation of sweet and sour liquid: 1 part of brown sugar, 4 parts of vinegar, 1 part of wine and 160 parts of water. Place the prepared sweet and sour liquid in the container to occupy 1/2 of the container volume. Hang the container containing sweet and sour liquid on the tree. Pests can fill up in 3 days, and when they are full, you can replace the sweet and sour liquid. On a tree, hang one or two.

In the early stages of the apple and pear fruit damage caused by adult white beetle beetles, that is, from late June to early July, the fruits of the early-maturing varieties are plucked and cut into pieces, under moisturizing conditions (usually water-moisturizing). Place for 3 to 5 days, the fruit can be rotted, and then mix 10 to 20 times of dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate in the flesh, and put it in a bowl or can bottle (the amount is 1/3 to 1/2 of the container) and hang it on the tree. On the top, 10-15 were placed per acre. The trapped adults were collected once a day and buried underground to prevent poisoning by other beneficial animals.
