Third, add the electrolyte After the new battery plus the electrolyte should be left to recharge for 4 to 8 hours, so that the electrolyte soaked plate, but also easy to cool. When mixing electrolyte, it is forbidden to pour water into sulfuric acid. Only sulfuric acid can be poured into water to avoid causing explosion burns.
Fourth, the pores on the liquid injection cap cover should be kept open, otherwise, the increase in battery pressure will cause the battery casing, battery cover burst.
Fifth, to maintain the voltage of each battery cell voltage can not be less than 1.7 volts, but can not put the end of power, winter should pay attention to prevent the electrolyte freezes, damage the battery.
Sixth, scientific start-up battery should not be over-discharge, start time should not exceed 10 seconds. If it cannot be started at a time, it should be performed 0.5 to 1 minute before the second time. The continuous start can't exceed 3 times. If it still can't start, check the other parts of the engine for problems.
7. The liquid level inspection often checks the electrolyte liquid level. The electrolyte should be 10 to 15 mm above the top plate. When it is insufficient, clean distilled water should be added. It is absolutely forbidden to add river water, spring water, well water and tap water.
VIII. Scientifically save the locomotive from parking. The battery should be removed, stored in the room, and recharged on a regular basis. It is advisable to charge it once a month to prevent the vulcanization of the plates, and the ground wire should be removed. Do not stack debris, tools, etc. on the battery cover. Clean the cover with 20% alkaline water and keep it clean and dry.
