1 Scope This standard stipulates technical points for the cultivation and establishment of bay scallop seedlings.
This standard applies to bay scallop pro-shell selection, larval rearing, seed breeding, and cultivating.

3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Fullness

4 Parents

4.3 Cultivation Technology

5.5 Daily Management

5.6 Collecting seedlings

5.7 seedlings

6 cultivation of seedlings in the middle
6.1 Cultivation Technology
6.1.1 The site chooses shrimp ponds, reservoirs or calm inner bays.
6.1.2 Site disinfection shrimp ponds and reservoirs are disinfected with 500 mg/L quicklime or 30 mg/L to 50 mg/L bleach.

6.2 Product seedlings

6.2.2 Quality

7 Intermediate cultivation of commodity seedlings
7.1 Cultivation Technology
7.1.1 The site selects a sea area where the water flow is gentle, there are no large waves, the food is rich, or sea area where scallops are developed.
7.1.2 The water quality shall comply with the provisions of NY 5052.
7.1.3 Density
7.1.3.1 Mesh bag method Each bag contains 300 to 500 capsules. Each string is hung with 10 bags. A 60m floating raft can hang 100 strings to 120 strings.

8 Develop
8.1 Shallow sea bream culture
8.1.1 The environmental conditions should meet the requirements of Table 4.
8.1.2 Shallow sea breeding facilities consist of floating rafts, floats, fixed rafts, rafts, and cages. Do not use toxic materials.
8.1.3 The establishment of aquaculture facilities shall be divided into sea areas and the locations shall be determined, and the waterways shall be reserved. The direction of the rows shall be perpendicular to the flow direction, and the spacing shall be 10m to 20m.

8.1.6 Daily Management

8.1.6.2 During the seasons in which a large number of attachments to cultured aquifers are adjusted, the water layer should be properly lowered; before the arrival of large wind waves, the entire trusses should be lowered to reduce losses. 8.1.6.3 Emergency Disposal When incidents such as red tides or oil spills occur in contiguous or aquaculture sea areas, effective measures should be taken in time to avoid contamination of bay scallops. 8.2 Pond bottom sowing
8.2.1 The environmental conditions shall meet the requirements of Table 5.
8.2.2 Cultivation density: 10104 grains to 15104 grains per hectare of water.
8.2.3 Daily Management
