"Sanshui Pear" Cultivation Techniques

At present, many regions in China introduced the Japanese "Sanshui pear" cultivation. Due to the good quality of “Sanshui Pear” fruit, it is popular among consumers in the domestic market and the price is high. The cultivation area in the country continues to expand. However, the “Sanshui Pear” cultivation technique requires high technical requirements. Now we introduce the “Sanshui Pear” cultivation techniques as follows:

First, soil fertilizer management. The root system of “Sanshui Pear” requires high oxygen. The pear garden requires fertile soil, loose soil, convenient irrigation and drainage, and high organic matter content in the soil. It is possible to cover 20 cm thick rice straw between the rows of Liyuan in June. In the autumn, turn the rotted straw into the pear orchard to increase the organic matter and mineral nutrients and loosen the soil. Shi Jifei in November was dominated by organic fertilizers (mainly decomposed organic fertilizers from pigs, cattle and chicken manure). In the spring and February of the same year, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers were applied. After the end of September, the fruit was harvested after the fruit was harvested. Fertilizers were quickly available with NPK fertilizer.

Second, flower and fruit management. The “Sanshui Pear” high-quality fruit has a single fruit weight of over 300 grams. To produce high-quality and large fruit, the following management should be performed during the flowering and fruiting period: no nitrogen fertilizer is applied during the fruit enlargement period, and the sugar content of the fruit can be increased. Before flowering, buds are removed, leaving only 3 flowers per inflorescence, reducing nutrient waste. Artificial pollination during flowering to increase fruit weight and improve quality. About 2 weeks after flowering, fruit thinning will be carried out in early May, and only 1 fruit per fruit plant will reduce nutrient waste. After the end of May, the fruits will be grown, so that most of the fruits left grow into high quality and large fruit.

Third, trim. The “Sanshui Pear” tree has been planned to be planted densely to increase early production. In the full fruit period, the row spacing is 7 meters 7 meters, the tree-shaped cross is a happy shape, the tree height is about 2 meters, and the crown width is about 6 meters. The four main branches have an opening angle of 60-70 degrees. Two main branches are cultured on each main branch. The distance from the same side is 1.5-2 meters. The lateral branches (the main part of the results) are mainly on the secondary branch. The pruning feature was: the results of the shoots were updated quickly, and the Sanshui pear shoots group was renewed three times in one year. When the branches in the thinning group were not suitable for the shoots, the shoots could be left when the branches were dredged, and the shoots were cultivated in the next year. Make full use of alfalfa flower buds. The result is that the branches are as close as possible to the stem branches and it is easy to grow good quality fruits. Emphasis is placed on the pruning of the growing season. From mid-June to July, some of the upright branches of the 1-year-old branches are cut off, and some of the 1-year-old branches are induced to develop more excellent alfalfa buds.

Fourth, pest and disease control. Adopt comprehensive prevention and control, such as chemical control: spraying with mechanical oil emulsion, lime sulfur, zein zinc, copper quinoline, zinc fortune, etc.; physical control: pear orchards in residential areas are covered with nets, outside Insects and birds cannot enter; artificial control: clearing the garden in the autumn, clearing the fallen leaves, cutting off the diseased branches, and burning the diseased fruit. Bagging fruits to prevent diseases, insects, and birds.

Fifth, batch harvesting. Fruits can only be harvested when they reach a certain degree of maturity. The "Sansui Pears" are generally harvested from mid-August onwards in late August and are harvested with fruit stems cut off. "Sanshui Pear" is not resistant to storage at room temperature. It is necessary to sell it in a timely manner or use cold storage to extend the delivery period to obtain higher economic benefits.
