(3) The hollow cathode lamp will age after being used for a period of time, resulting in unstable illumination, weakened intensity, increased noise and reduced sensitivity. Alternatively, the cathode and anode of the hollow cathode lamp are reversely connected and then energized for a half hour at a specified maximum operating current. Most of the hollow cathode lamps are restored to a certain extent after activation treatment, prolonging the service life of the lamps.

(4) When using a hollow cathode lamp with low melting point elements (such as As, Se, etc.), avoid large vibrations. If it is used, it is not possible to replace other lamps immediately.

(5) When picking up or loading or unloading the hollow cathode lamp, take the lamp holder, do not take the lamp tube, and do not touch the quartz window of the lamp to prevent the lamp tube from rupturing or the window being stained, and the photo-induced light energy is reduced. If you find oily, fingerprints or other dirt on the window, use a cotton wool dampened with alcohol to gently wipe.

(6) Once the hollow cathode lamp is broken, the cathode material is exposed to the outside. In order to prevent certain harmful elements on the cathode material from affecting human health, the harmful materials should be disposed of according to regulations, and should not be randomly discarded.
