The Shucheng County CPPCC recently organized the Shucheng Tea Cultural Materials Collection and Seminar, and decided to comprehensively collect and organize Shucheng tea history and modern related manuscripts, pictures and materials in the near future, and sort out the development of Shucheng tea for the first time.
The collection of Shucheng tea cultural materials is in response to the requirements of the CPPCC Agricultural Committee “collecting relevant materials for editing and publishing Lu'an tea booksâ€, fully tapping the history of Shucheng tea, comprehensively recording the development process of Shucheng tea, carrying forward and inheriting Shucheng Tea culture, further promote the promotion of Shucheng tea. The data collection work shall be undertaken jointly by the county agricultural commission, the Wenguang New Bureau, the tea association and Other relevant departments as well as representatives of tea enterprises and relevant experts.
Li Guangnian, vice chairman of the Shucheng County CPPCC, attended the meeting. He said that tea is a characteristic advantage industry in our county and a pillar industry in the mountainous area. Collecting and reorganizing Shucheng tea materials is of great significance for promoting the social and economic development of our county. The tea culture will play an important role. He hopes that relevant units and departments will give full play to their respective advantages, ensure the authenticity and extensiveness of data collection, and demonstrate the unique charm of Shucheng tea culture.
