"Luzhen 1" is a new species of Platycodon grandiflorum newly bred by the Center for Nuclear Technology and Space Breeding of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In 2003, we collected the seeds of Platycodon grandiflorum in the Dabie Mountains of Henan Province. In the spring of 2004, we planted in the field test of the Chinese herbal medicine breeding of the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences to observe and identify. We continued to remove impurities from the seedlings to flowering stages to isolate and purify the groups. In 2005, trials were conducted for comparisons and comparisons. Regional trials were conducted in 2006 in Shandong, Yunnan, Mengyin, Boshan, Wuyuan and other Platycodon production areas. In 2007, production trials and variety demonstrations were formally put in place, based on their resistance and disease resistance. , high yield characteristics and other characteristics, identified as suitable for cultivation of Shandong Province, the new Campanulaceae varieties.
1. Characteristics
The 2-year-old plant height is about 65 cm, green stems, number of branches is 1.5, the number of main stem leaves is about 40, the leaves are small, the plant type is medium, and the lodging resistance is strong. Purple, corolla medium, early flowering period in early July, late-maturing type. The seeds are full and dark, and the weight of a thousand grains is about 0.95g. The root bark is light yellow or yellow-brown, the distribution ratio of roots is more than 60%, and the average amount of saponin is 16.33%. Cold-resistant, drought-resistant, heavy-duty, high yield performance, suitable cultivation density of 45000 to 55000 per mu. Suitable for sandy loam, brown loam soil, followed by cinnamon, taboo or heavy soil.
2. Cultivation techniques
The Platycodon grandiflorum is a deep-rooted crop with straight roots. The suitable soil depth can reach 30cm. The accumulation of water and soil moisture can easily cause rot. Therefore, land with fertile soil, deep soil, loose texture, good drainage conditions, and a pH of 6.5-7.5 should be selected. Before planting, 2000 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer was applied per mu, and 20 kg of three-element compound fertilizer was evenly spread on the ground, and deep-turned over 20 cm.
The Platycodon grandiflorum is mainly propagated with seeds. It can be sown in spring from mid-April to early May, summer in June, and sown in October. It can use 1.5kg per acre and can also be transplanted and transplanted. In order to increase the seed germination rate, the seeds can be treated first, soaked in warm water for 12 h before sowing, mixed with appropriate amount of wet sand, and the seed germination rate can be significantly increased after several days of seeding.
