(5) In the absence of any means, the front cover of the tractor can be temporarily removed to allow the engine and cooling system to be directly exposed to the air. This also has a certain cooling effect, but it looks very unsightly and should not be used under normal circumstances.

6. Check the work performance of the thermostat and remove it if necessary (in high temperature weather) to prevent the thermostat from malfunctioning and affect the normal circulation of the cooling water and reduce the cooling function.

7. For pumps with longer working hours, inspect the impeller and pump housing bore, the wear of the water pump shaft and bearings, and the water seal assembly. If the wear is severe, it will result in insufficient water discharge and affect the circulation of cooling water. At this time, it needs to be repaired in time.

8. Test the tightness of the engine against the valve for a long time and properly check and adjust the valve clearance. If the valve seal is not good, it will cause leakage of high-temperature and high-pressure gas, causing the engine temperature to rise. The main reason for poor sealability is generally poor contact between the valve seat and the valve, and weak spring force. If the valve is not closed properly, repair it promptly.

9, to adjust the fuel supply advance angle accurately, to ensure the timing of fuel supply. 10. Check and adjust the injector so that the injection pressure, atomization and spray cone angle meet the specified requirements. If the atomization of the injector and the spray cone angle are not good, the fuel and air will not be well mixed, resulting in a decrease in the burning speed, prolonging the burning time, and causing the engine temperature to rise.

Because the combine harvester has a long working time, high ambient temperature, poor ventilation, and slow walking speed, working under such severe conditions makes the engine cooling system's working ability particularly important. The cooling capacity should be determined by designing the engine at high temperature and full load conditions.
