1. The thresher should be mounted on a sturdy and uniform wooden frame, and firmly secured using screws to ensure stability during operation. The push button switch must be safely enclosed to prevent electric shocks, while also being easily accessible for convenient use. When using a diesel engine as the power source, it should be securely fastened so that the center distance between the two pulleys remains between 1.5 to 2 meters, ensuring smooth power transmission and reducing mechanical stress.
The opening of the thresher should ideally align with the natural wind direction to facilitate better airflow and improve the separation process. If a diesel engine is used, its installation should be positioned opposite to the straw discharge outlet to avoid interference and ensure efficient operation. Before feeding, place square tables or planks at the feeding stage to create a stable platform for stacking the crops, making the feeding process more efficient and controlled.
2. Always use the correct pulley size as specified in the instruction manual. For dry wheat, the motor pulley should have an outer diameter of 120 mm, while the roller pulley should be 135 mm. This ensures proper belt tension and optimal performance.
Before starting the machine, lubricate the bearings with grease, inspect the interior for any foreign objects, and check that all connecting bolts are tightened. Manually rotate the pulley to listen for any unusual friction noises. If any issues are detected, perform maintenance before running the machine. Once everything is confirmed to be in order, conduct a test run to ensure smooth operation.
3. Adjust the feeding amount based on the moisture level and stem length of the crops. If the breakage rate is high, increase the gap between the roller and the concave plate, and consider replacing the roller pulley if necessary. Feed the crops one after another to maintain a steady flow. If a twisting rope occurs, stop feeding immediately and wait until the issue clears before resuming. In case of blockage, stop the machine right away and clear the obstruction to prevent damage.
4. Never feed hard objects such as metal, tools, wooden blocks, or stones into the machine, as they can cause serious damage or injury. After each operation, let the machine idle for a few minutes before turning it off to allow internal components to cool down and reduce wear.
When using the thresher for weed removal, remove the top cover and pull out the two hanging plates of the concave plate. Slide one end of the concave plate out of the housing by about 50 mm, insert the file, ensuring the blade edge faces the same direction, and then reinsert it. Repeat the process on the other side by pulling out the indentation plate 50 mm, installing the sacral knife in the same manner, and placing it back. Finally, reattach the boom and cover to complete the setup for weed processing.
