Prevention and Control of Powdery Strawberry Straw Fever

Strawberry diseases can be caused by several factors. First, calcium deficiency is a major issue. Strawberries are high-calcium crops, and after fruiting, their ability to absorb calcium weakens. Calcium plays a key role in the plant's resistance to powdery mildew. Second, low temperatures can hinder root activity, reducing nutrient uptake and making plants more vulnerable to disease. Third, phytotoxicity can occur when plants are exposed to excessive chemical sprays, especially triazole-based fungicides. These chemicals can stunt growth and reduce photosynthesis, leaving the plant in a weakened state and less able to fight off infections. To manage these issues, several control measures can be taken. First, apply a 934 growth enhancer, which helps boost plant resilience. Alongside this, foliar sprays of calcium and boron compounds should be applied every 10–15 days to replenish essential nutrients. This not only improves plant health but also strengthens its natural defenses against disease. Second, gradually increase the temperature in the growing area by 2–3°C daily for 3–4 days until it reaches 32°C, then slowly bring it back down to the ideal fruiting temperature of 24°C. This helps improve root function and nutrient absorption, leading to stronger, healthier plants that are better equipped to resist disease. Third, use small-packaged pesticides and foliar fertilizers to ensure precise dosing and reduce the risk of phytotoxicity. For example, using 10 ml of myclobutanil, 8 ml of Duo Mace, or Tribeca (which does not inhibit growth and provides effective protection for up to 14 days) can help control powdery mildew without harming the plant. By following these practices, growers can significantly improve strawberry health and reduce the occurrence of disease.

Veterinary Ultrasound Scanner

As customers have higher and higher requirements for animal reproduction and animal disease diagnosis and treatment, traditional diagnostic methods such as visual inspection, stethoscope listening, thermometer inspection, and percussion and hammering can no longer meet the needs of animal husbandry production and veterinary clinics. Today, B-ultrasound is playing a big role in human medical diagnosis, and in the future, B-ultrasound will also play a role in animal medicine. We should promote the use of veterinary ultrasound scanner step by step according to the actual situation, popularize the knowledge of the use of veterinary ultrasound scanner, take this as an opportunity, and use it as a ladder to improve the level of veterinary practice in our country.
