Tractor running-in period matters needing attention

A newly bought or recently repaired tractor looks like the parts are very precise, but under the magnifying glass, there are signs of unevenness. The purpose of the new machine (including overhaul) is to eliminate these traces so that the various parts and components can closely cooperate.

In general, the method of running-in of a tractor is to gradually increase its speed and load. The engine gradually moves from low speed to high speed. The tractor moves from empty load to half load and full load. For example, the factory regulations for a walking tractor must be run at one-third of the load for 7 hours and two-thirds of the load for 15 hours before it can be gradually brought to full capacity.

During the running-in period, the tractor should keep its good lubrication. At the same time, we must always pay attention to inspection, adjustment, so that the various parts of the joint surface grinding smooth. Ensure the best clearance for each fitting department, lay a good foundation for the normal operation of the locomotive in the future, and achieve the purpose of prolonging the service life of the locomotive.

During the commissioning of the tractor, special attention should be paid to the following issues:

1. Always check the tightening conditions of various parts of the locomotive, check whether the oil pressure, water temperature, fuel supply system is normal, and whether there is leakage. If there is a problem, it should be ruled out as soon as possible.

Second, when the locomotive gears run in, they should slowly turn to the left and right. Advance and retreat each block to try it out.

Third, during the run-in period, special attention should be paid to listening to the engine, rear axle, and transmission parts for noise and abnormal noise. Also pay attention to whether the operating device is flexible.

4. At the end of running-in, check carefully whether the free stroke of the valve clearance, clutch, brake, and operating mechanism is within the normal range. If not, adjust it in time.

5. At the end of running-in, the oil in the oil pan and the gear oil and cooling water in various parts must be removed. Then, clean each site, refuel, and add water. And also clean the diesel fuel tank and replace the air cleaner cartridge.

Sixth, after the completion of the running-in task, it is best to perform maintenance on the 1st. In this way, you can rest assured that the locomotive will be put into normal use.
