I just came across something really cool from IMC/Teddy that I wanted to share with you! They recently completed this massive custom project—a double ‘H’ shaped floor water receptacle. It was such an extensive undertaking that it involved every single department within IMC to pull it off. The project was intricate, and here are some of the key details:
This particular design uses 16GA Type 304 stainless steel, which is incredibly durable and corrosion-resistant. There are five separate anti-splash floor water receptacles, each measuring 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep. These individual pieces were then welded together to create one cohesive unit. To ensure proper drainage, they also incorporated (84) pieces of SG-ADA grating, each measuring 5¾ inches wide by 19 inches long. These gratings meet ADA compliance standards, making them perfect for public spaces like schools. And there are a total of (11) drains throughout the structure.
The final product is set to be installed in a high school, where it will handle all the drainage needs for an entire floor. I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with how everything came together.
