Happy Monday, everyone!
It’s been a while since I last shared updates on the progress of our kids' shared room, but we’ve been sneaking in small improvements here and there. I thought it was about time to give you a peek at how things are shaping up. Starting off with an inspiration board always helps me visualize the final look, and even though we tweak things as we go, it’s a great way to get everything just right before committing too many resources.
Without further ado, here are some photos of their shared space:

*They absolutely adore their individual shelves by their beds—it’s the perfect spot for those nightly cups of water they *have* to have.*

Our kids are still head over heels for the pallet beds we built for them. They’ve held up incredibly well, and honestly, who could resist spending less than $50 for two playful and unique beds?

*Photos sure do reveal a lot—I clearly need to tidy up some of those cords.*

*To be honest, there’s even a TV in their room, something I never imagined allowing. But guess what? Parenting brings surprises! It’s not connected to anything, but it’s handy during those moments when they need to retreat with their favorite DVDs.*

I have to say, some of the smaller touches truly bring the room to life. For instance, the vintage wooden train passed down from my mom, the beautiful Instagram prints hung by the window, and the string of star lights above their beds—they’re the ultimate night light!

More recently, we’ve added an art gallery wall featuring the kids’ artwork, a white-washed "Celebrate" sign, corkboards to display their latest projects and photos, and a vintage wheel/cloud mobile hanging in the corner. One of my absolute favorites is the magnetic chalkboard—it’s held up beautifully and instantly becomes a focal point for any playdate guests.

Making budget-friendly changes and tackling a few DIY projects has really transformed the room into a cohesive shared space. Gone are the days of mismatched colors and themes—this feels like a real team effort.
Change is good, isn’t it?
Speaking of changes, does anyone else have room or home updates on the horizon? Let me know how it’s going!
