It should be done right after the diesel engine has been turned off. First, heat the oil in the oil pan using a clean container. Then, remove the oil filter housing, drain out any remaining oil from the housing, and reinstall the original filter core along with all other components. Make sure to tighten the oil drain plug securely. Next, add 5 kg of a mixed oil solution—consisting of equal parts diesel fuel and engine oil—into the oil pan. Start the engine and let it run at a low speed for 1 to 2 minutes. While doing so, monitor the oil pressure gauge; its needle should move and stabilize within a short time. Once the engine is stopped, drain out the diesel oil from the oil pan.
Then, remove the left cover of the crankcase, take off the strainer snap ring and filter, and clean them thoroughly. Check the components in diesel fuel to ensure they are free from damage or blockage. Reinstall the cleaned parts if there are no issues. After that, completely drain any remaining diesel oil from the oil pan, re-tighten the oil drain plug, and put the right window cover back in place. This process helps maintain engine performance and ensures proper lubrication.
