I. Health and Family Planning Resources
(1) The total number of medical and health institutions increased by 5.05% compared with 2010.
By the end of 2015, there were 36097 medical and health institutions in the province, and 34,362 in 2010, an increase of 5.05%. Among them, 770 hospitals (487 general hospitals, 116 Chinese medicine hospitals, 167 specialized hospitals) increased by 167 compared with 2010, an increase of 27.67%, and 34,516 primary health care institutions (including 1,186 health centers, community health services). There are 1190 institutions, 24,810 village clinics, 320 outpatient departments, and 7010 clinics. Compared with 2010, there are 455, an increase of 1.34%, 703 professional public health institutions such as maternal and child health centers, and 108 other health institutions.

(2) Health and family planning personnel increase year by year
During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, the number of health workers continued to increase. In 2015, the total number of health and family planning personnel in the province was 447,100, including 128,800 practicing (assistant) physicians and 154,600 registered nurses. Compared with the same period in 2010, the total number of health workers in the province increased by 101,600, an increase of 29.41%.

(3) The total number of beds increased compared with 2010
In 2015, the number of beds in medical and health institutions in the province was 338,500, including 242,200 hospital beds. Compared with the same period in 2010, the number of hospital beds in the province increased by 107,100, a year-on-year increase of 79.31%; the number of beds in community health service institutions was 12,300. Zhang, compared with 2010, increased by 4,285, a year-on-year increase of 49.39%; the number of beds in health centers was 72,400, an increase of 24,100, a year-on-year increase of 50.14%.
